Summer is here, and the pool is calling — but safety comes first! The American Red Cross reports that an estimated 4,000 die from unintentional drowning in the United States each year. Drowning is the number one cause of death for children ages 1 to 4 years, and the leading cause of death for children and adults with autism spectrum disorder, according to the Red Cross.
